32 Mother’s Day Gifts For The Foodie Mom
Sometimes it’s hard to really tell someone how much you love them. Sometimes it’s hard to find the perfect gift. These items will hopefully ease some stress while making mom think of your kindness frequently as she uses your gift day after day. Nothing makes mom feel more loved than knowing you hit a gift right in her sweet spot. To all the moms out there – you work too hard, you give selflessly, you love endlessly. You deserve so much more than a day. There is nothing that can equal what you give. Any of these gifts would be feeble attempts to shine a light on your effort.
Bravo to all the moms! Take this Mother’s Day and drink it in, absorb the love, take in the smiles and hugs. Enjoy the sticky fingers and stained clothes – you’re making people!!!! You’re making people you want to be around, you’re making people who are yours! I tip my hat to you all.

A hot drink frother whisk is by far a delightful addition to a morning routine. If organic coffee isn’t an option, dandelion root granules made as coffee is an alternative that actually tastes better than coffee, allowing you to keep your morning treat, while supporting your liver. To make dandelion root granule “bulletproof coffee” put one heaping tablespoon of dandelion root granules into an unbleached coffee filter and tie it up with cotton string. Bring to boil two cups of water and boil for three minutes. To a coffee mug, add three to four tablespoons of grass fed butter (click here for a breakdown on GAPS butter, click here for the one I use) two teaspoons of MCT oil and two drops of clean stevia. The best way to use the butter is start with room temperature butter and fill the hot dandelion tea half way up the cup and froth. It will splash out if the cup is too full. Fill the remainder of the cup and pulse the frother a few times and enjoy. Click here to order a frother whisk.
A mug will please any mom when it says, “Mom, no matter what life throws at you, at least you don’t have ugly children.” Click here to see. Another can say, “Mom, thank you for giving me life and thank you for not taking it away during my teen years.” Even better is the mug that says “Mom, sorry you had to raise such a spoiled, bratty, messy and ungrateful child… like my sibling. Your favorite.”
Almost every mom loves chocolate, as a gift, it’s a no-brainer. Finding clean chocolate is not easy. This one is even GAPS approved. These mint chocolate treats are also GAPS approved.
A cutting board which tells her how much you love her every day is a constant remembrance of appreciation.
Wall art will remind mom she is loved, no matter how hard her day.
A new apron, with matching oven mitts and towels will make any mom’s kitchen feel and look fresh. Items like these are something mom will often not buy for herself.
A whipped cream dispenser can easily turn into the most fun and delicious tool in the kitchen. It enables you to use whatever ingredients you choose, from raw cream, or even fermented cream, to homemade vanilla – making your own whipped cream is a true joy. This is one of my absolute favorite things! Having extra cartridges is important. We generally use three to four cartridges per canister.
A cast iron dutch oven is a versatile treat to every kitchen. It can go from the stove top right into the stove, creating endless kitchen options. A cast iron dutch oven is the perfect way to make chewy crust sourdough bread.
A salt lamp is something mom will usually not buy for herself.
An ice cream maker is a true necessity for any foodie kitchen. Simple and inexpensive easy entry versions can be used, or more advanced versions, such as this one which plugs in and and be used perpetually and don’t need a pre-frozen container can be used. Attachments to a Kitchen Aide, such as this one, is also a good choice.
A weighted blanket can create comfort and deeper sleep, a gift that will give and give and give and give…
A Kitchen Aide mixer is a must have for any foodie kitchen.
A Vitamix is a frequently used kitchen item which saves time. It can be used for soups, smoothies and even chopping cabbage for making sauerkraut. Click here to see the Vitamix.
Dehydrators are a foodie’s dream. A stainless steel dehydrator is the king of all king dehydrators. Having one of these gems in your kitchen can help with making yogurt, rising bread, making kale chips, fruit leather and so much more.
The Instant Pot is a valuable tool to many moms. It’s versatile, allowing her to make yogurt, soup and countless meals. Put it in and forget it, this is a time saver that she’ll love. Click here for an Instant Pot. Buying extra seals is important as they sometimes retain odors. Nobody wants their pot roast tasting like fish. Instant Pot accessories are always loved and can create more valuable treats, such as this Instant Pot carrying tote or this cheesecake spring form pan (which unfortunately is only available as a non-stick coating pan) and even this hard boiled egg tray. A glass lid accessory can make cooking easier sometimes, depending on the dish. A silicone lid enables the Instant Pot bowl to become a leftover bowl which goes right into the refrigerator.
An amethyst, red light, negative ion mat is a relaxing and energizing treat that mom will love! She will dream of it while she’s not on it and she will thank you forever. Some say the mat brings the organs up to a slightly higher temperature, stimulating blood flow. The result is a state of relaxation and revitalization that is undeniable. Some say 20 minutes on the mat is equal to a four hour nap. Sleeping with the mat under your sheets can change your life. For a smaller version, click here.
An infrared sauna is something mom can use every day to feel better and function better. This is a sign of love that is incomparable.
For unsure situations, a gift card is better than nothing. When giving a gift card, especially for mom on Mother’s Day, go big.

This is great! Would MCT oil or stevia be yeast feeders?
