GAPS chocolates are often a craving, in fact, they are the most common cheat while on GAPS. This recipe of chocolate mousse remains GAPS legal. This healthy chocolate will satiate and satisfy any sweet tooth.

In a Vitamix, food processor or blender completely combine 5 or 6 ripe avocados, 2 cups home brewed sour cream, 1/2 cup local honey, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon green stevia and 1 teaspoon home brewed vanilla. Blend until smooth.

.

Pour the chocolate mixture in silicone candy molds that can be fun for kids! Freeze. Enjoy.

This mixture makes a hearty pudding.

Hi Becky, I enjoy your food ideas but so many contain dairy and that still is a no go for my children, can you put alternative suggestions for dairy free?
I’d also love to hear your story about how long it took til you overcame certain GAPS symptoms, it’s been almost 2 years for us and while there has been much improvement, things like dairy are still a very distant dream.

If you’ve been on gaps for two years, I’m wondering where you are on the dairy intro?
Dr. Natasha has asked for my story, the question you’ve asked will be in her post and new book.
