Holistic and Natural Detoxing Agents

Detoxing helps the body eliminate built up toxins that clog the system, preventing normal function. This is a natural way to cleanse the inner workings of the body. Traditional pharmaceutical based medicine refers to detoxing as quackery saying the body detoxes naturally, in fact the function of the liver is to detox. The largest problem with this theory is our food supply is loaded with chemicals, additives, fluoride, bromine, chlorine, preservatives and other toxic elements. Our bodies can only do so much before the toxic overload overwhelms our systems, throws off the pH of our body, minerals do not get absorbed with malnutrition resulting and basic function ceases to work properly.
Signs of a toxic liver are mood swings, anger, a general display of being uptight, chronic fatigue, malaise as well as others like unexplained tearfulness. The liver is the first organ of detox but if the liver is at maximum capacity the lungs kick into gear for cleansing. This is often evident with breathing issues or bronchial infections especially recurrent episodes.

Many people today are suffering from an overloaded toxic liver, even though they don’t drink alcohol. Many people are suffering from illnesses of the lungs even though they don’t smoke. In fact being diagnosed with fatty liver is becoming commonplace.
Patients who remove all chemical overload both from their food and beauty products then do detoxification methods, receive phenomenal healing results including recovery from autism, bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression, anxiety, brain fog, constipation, diarrhea and more.
Milk Thistle
Milk thistle is an herb that regenerates the liver three times faster than normal function. It helps with anti-aging. Thistle aids the liver, kidney and gall bladder. The University of Maryland Medical Center says, “Several scientific

studies suggest that substances in milk thistle (especially a flavonoid called silymarin) protect the liver from toxins, including certain drugs such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), which can cause liver damage in high doses. Silymarin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and it may help the liver repair itself by growing new cells.”
WebMD says, “Milk thistle seed might protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Milk thistle plant extract might enhance the effects of estrogen.”
They go on to say, “Some people use milk thistle for diabetes, hangover, diseases of the spleen, prostate cancer,

malaria, depression, uterine complaints, increasing breast milk flow, allergy symptoms, and starting menstrual flow. In foods, milk thistle leaves and flowers are eaten as a vegetable for salads and a substitute for spinach. The seeds are roasted for use as a coffee substitute.”

This is not a news article published by a paper trying to make money. This blog is put out by a mom who sees first hand the effects of nourishing food vs food-ish items. No company pays her for writing these blogs, she considers this a form of missionary work. It is her desire to scream it from the rooftops so that others don’t suffer from the damaging effect of today’s “food”.
