Home Treatment Working for Coronavirus – With Conventional Things That Are Already In Your Cabinet
With the Coronavirus sweeping across the world, it’s comforting to know you can treat it yourself, or your family members, successfully with items you probably already have in your medicine cabinet. Home treatment for the Coronavirus is working! There are countless cases of people using natural treatments at home with items they already had. Knowing it’s just a matter of time before you possibly get exposed to the virus, having the knowledge at your fingertips is enormously valuable and comforting.
As with other viruses, the Coronavirus can not finish running its course until herd immunity is developed, this has been proven time and time again through the ages (source). The CDC says it is also known as community immunity, “A situation in which a sufficient proportion of a population is immune to an infectious disease (through prior illness) to make its spread from person to person unlikely. Also known as herd immunity.” Knowing a certain portion of the population has to get the virus until herd immunity is developed, having the tools at your fingertips to fight the virus, is necessary.

There has been a lot of news coverage on the virus, causing much fear and anxiety. Yet, authorities are more optimistic at this point. Dr. Deborah Birx says, “We’re seeing in New York exactly what we saw in Italy, increased mortality with increased age and comorbidity. 99% of the cases had pre-existing comorbid cases.” Deborah Leah Birx is a physician, diplomat, response coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force as of March 2020, Ambassador-at-Large and United States Global AIDS Coordinator since 2014, responsible for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program in 65 countries supporting HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention programs. She was appointed to her position by President Obama.

The Annals of Family Medicine says, “Comorbidity is associated with worse health outcomes, more complex clinical management, and increased health care costs.” This is a combination of diseases that lead to premature death, including heart conditions, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, chronic liver disease, etc. People that fall into this category are classified as frail.
Birx says the UK adjusted their predicted deaths from Coronavirus from half a million people to 20,000. “The predictions of the models don’t match the reality on the ground in either China, South Korea, or Italy.”
This means the predicted numbers of deceased in not happening. This is encouraging. People are getting sick, but not dying in the numbers originally predicted.
She says, “If we were Italy and you did (the) division, Italy should have close to 400,000 deaths. They’re not close to achieving that. Models are models. There’s enough data now with the real experience of Coronavirus on the ground. We don’t have data that matches that based on the experience.”
The WHO confirmed that the virus’ fatality rate is around 3.4%, but health experts predict it could ultimately be lower as more cases are reported.
Dr. Birx in fact disciplined media outlets for creating this fear saying, “We are reassured in meeting with our colleagues in NY that there are still ICU beds remaining and there are still significant, over a 1,000 or 2,000 ventilators, that have not been utilized yet. To make an implication, to say to the American people, that when they need a hospital bed, it’s not going to be there, or when they need a ventilator, it’s not going to be there – we don’t have evidence of that right now.”
Conventional recommendations are to:
- Isolate for 14 days
- Family or friends you’ve been in contact with also isolate for 14 days.
- Rest, fluids, oxygen, and more intensive care if needed (ventilator).
- Do not take ibuprofen to reduce fever (ibuprofen usually exasperates symptoms {often after the second dose the effect is often seen as extreme} – fever goes higher, nausea increases, pain in esophagus and lungs).
Natural support at home includes:
Yarrow is and plant used when fever goes too high. It is important to remember however, a high fever is a good thing as it is the body’s natural resource for cooking out the virus. Traditionally a fever is treated when it is over 104 degrees (source and source). Yarrow is a beautiful flower that grows naturally in rocky soil, freely on roadsides, fields, and home gardens. Many plants are gentle in their healing support, yarrow is not – it is strong and highly effective in reducing a fever and stopping bleeding. Coronavirus or not, it’s something to have on hand. The Herbal Academy says, “Yarrow is both an anti-inflammatory as well as being antimicrobial. It reduces pain, is an anti-catarrhal, relaxes circulation, and is a mild sedative, too. Yarrow infusion is most effective when taken at the onset of the flu symptoms, but it can also help before the problem starts. Do not take yarrow daily for more than two weeks.” It can also be used in a bathtub. Click here for yarrow.

Iodine has shown to be highly effective against Coronavirus. Dr. David Brownstein says, “There’s no fungus that’s shown to be resistant to iodine. There’s no parasites that have shown to be resistant to iodine. There’s no virus that’s shown to be resistant to iodine, including Coronavirus.” Dr. Brownstein has been using nebulized iodine in Coronavirus cases with enormous success. Click here for iodine.
One patient in Brownstein’s practice said nebulizing iodine, “Radically changed the trajectory of what this thing was doing. Four days ago I was looking at death!” Instead, after three nebulized treatments, he was up, dressed, and close to his regular healthy self. Nebulizers come in many forms including a portable hand held one like this one, a machine which plugs in and has multiple masks like this one, or a basic model like this one.
Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is also recommended by Dr. Brownstein, “I think nebulizing hydrogen peroxide and iodine should be done on every COVID patient. It should be done on every pneumonia patient. It should be done on every influenza-suffering patient. It should be done on every patient suffering from lung problems.” Click here for 12% hydrogen peroxide.
His recipe is simple, “With my patients, I have them nebulize Lugol’s 5% solution. I tell them to put 1-2 drops of Lugol’s 5% in 3cc of normal saline and nebulize the mixture. For hydrogen peroxide, food grade hydrogen peroxide should be used. We mix up a bag of normal saline and add hydrogen peroxide along with minerals. I would not nebulize over-the-counter hydrogen peroxide. I would use pure food grade and dilute it down.” If using 2% Lugol’s iodine, this equals 5 drops of iodine.

If you don’t have a bag of saline, he says you can use one cup of clean water with one teaspoon of Celtic Salt, stir until dissolved. Some minerals will fall to the bottom, just skim the water off the top by pouring it out, leaving the heavy sediment at the bottom.
Dr. Brownstein says, “Nebulizing should be done only with the guidance of your doctor. I would suggest that it is best to find a holistic doctor who can help guide you.”
For another patient, Jeremiah, he recommended his wife dilute food grade—35%–peroxide down to 3% using clean, sterile water. (Water to FGHP 10 to 1 makes a 3% solution.) She took the homemade saline solution and put 3 cc of saline and 3 cc of hydrogen peroxide solution into the nebulizer. “After two treatments (he) could breath in a deep breath. After 4 he was almost ‘healthy’.” Food grade hydrogen peroxide often comes in 12% solution.
Dr. Brownstein says, “It’s not meant to be done every day, forever. It’s not meant to be done every two weeks forever.” He generally recommends hitting it hard for 4 days and watching. “I would not recommend nebulizing more than 3 times per day. Both have antiviral abilities. Peroxide is produced in the lung tissue in large amounts. Iodine is utilized by lung tissue in large amounts.”
If a nebulizer isn’t available, some folks have seen the same effect from putting these items into essential oil diffusers and breathing in the mist.
Silver is another item he recommends nebulizing. He says, “Silver can be very helpful for topical applications. In this case, nebulizing it for a lung issue may prove to be very useful.” Putting a dose of silver into the lungs with a nebulizer is going straight to the source. Click here for silver.
Vitamin A is also recommended. Foods highest in vitamin A are beef liver, lamb liver, salmon, caviar, cod liver oil, and raw pastured yolks. Signs of a deficiency include dry eyes, difficulty seeing or driving at night, keratinized bumps (which are generally white bumps found often on the backs of the upper arms), frequent respiratory infections, and acne. If you already present with these symptoms, you’re more vulnerable. Click here for vitamin A.
Dr. Brownstein recommends vitmain A to be taken at night as it shows more effective, 100,000 units every day. High dose synthetic vitamin A is not recommended for pregnant women.
Vitamin C also shows great success, used to bowel tolerance. This means a teaspoon is taken every hour until loose stools appear, then the dose is cut in half every hour, as tolerated. Dr. Katz is using high dose vitamin C successfully saying as doctors race to find a cure for COVID-19, Vitamin C can only help, and may give these patients a fighting chance for recovery. Click here for vitamin C.
Some New York hospitals have been using vitamin C to treat Coronavirus patients. Large doses of vitamin C are being administered to patients in intensive care at certain hospitals in New York, Newsweek has confirmed with a spokesperson for Northwell Health.
Fermented foods, especially the brine from fermented foods show great support. Some say it’s due to their high vitamin C content. Kraut juice is very high in vitamin C, and effective. Fermented garlic brine is highly supportive to flu like symptoms. These foods are recommended until loose bowels appear. Click here to learn more.
Flushing the lungs and nasal passages is something that can be done any time, even if you think you’ve possibly been exposed. A neti pot can be filled with the above listed ingredients including saline, food grade hydrogen peroxide, and iodine. Kraut juice can be used in the neti pot in the off times, away from iodine and food grade hydrogen peroxide.
Dr. Brownstein recommends ¼ tsp Celtic or Redmond’s salt in one cup of water that has been boiled and cooled to a warm temperature for use in the neti pot. Then 2 drops Lugol’s 5% can be added, particularly if sick, a couple times a day.
Keri Rivera recommends to add CD to an atomizer, “This you can do as often as needed. We want it to go into our nose, into our lungs so that we can get rid of this virus.” It can be purchased over the counter, and used at the ratio of 1/4 of a teaspoon per quart or gallon, depending on what is tolerated. Click here for proper MSM.
Mullein tea is wonderful support for the lungs. It is highly effective at lifting things out of the lungs. Click here for loose leaf mullein.
Vitamin D is also shown to be supportive. It shows best support taken in the morning. Vitamin D is fat soluble and found in pastured yellow butter, seafood, fish eggs, and organ meats. It is a stress hormone. Click here for vitamin D. Dr. Brownstein recommends taking doses of:
- Adults: —50,000 IU/day for four days
- Children 25-50 pounds: 10,000 IU/day
- Children: 50-100 pounds: 25,000 IU/day
Dr. Brownstein calls this the D hammer. He has a case study patient named Dale, who had flu like symptoms, took 50,000 iu and within 3 hours felt much better. He says, “Both vitamin A and D are fat-soluble vitamins. They can build up in the body. These doses are NOT meant to be taken for longer than four days at time.”
Dr. David Price of Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City works in Pulmonology in the IUC. His hospital is receiving 20% of the Covid patients in the city intake. He says go to the hospital when you are experiencing shortness of breath. He says the majority of people coming to the hospital are sent home. Those they take in, on average stay 5 to 6 days, then go home. Of the 10% of the people who come to the hospital, 1 to 2% go on a ventilator. These are patients who experience shortness of breath walking to the bathroom. The vast majority come off the ventilator 7 to 10 days later.

Dr. Price is on the front lines, in the trenches with the sickest patients. He’s the doctor putting people on ventilators. He says what they are seeing in the hospital is informative, “There’s almost no Covid disease in the population from age zero to age 14. Kids are not getting sick. In Wuhan in an entire hospital they found 2% had it, looked like a cough. Kids are not dying. How it’s affecting infants and newborns, it’s really not.”
He says nurses in the hospital are going into rooms with masks on and washing hands, afterwards, that’s it. What they are seeing is not a scary virus jumping on them, but one that, if they are wise, they are not catching.
Dr. Price says the doctors getting sick have spent 25 min with a patient doing nasal swab with intent (meaning they were actively causing sputum) before knowing the patient was sick. Another ER doctor didn’t know the protection needed when interacting with actively ill patients. Dr. Price says, “Our experience, in our hospital, and we’ve been doing this now for three weeks, if you wear the proper protection you can interact with these people indefinitely and zero people get sick.”
When asked if you could go for a run if you live in New York City, Dr. Price answered, “Yes! Please if you’re in a city, you can go outside. Just follow the rules (distance, time, hand hygiene). Purell hands when touching surfaces and don’t touch your face. Don’t come within 6 feet of people. Don’t get sloppy. Wear a mask to train yourself to not touch your face. Bandana is perfect. These are not preventing you from getting the disease, they are only preventing you from touching your face.”
He emphasizes, “This disease is a wimp. It dies as soon as you clean it. Coronavirus is a wimp. If you have Purell, all you need is a drop.”
When asked do people need to wipe down everything that comes into the house, he said, “No. What you don’t want to do is high five the delivery man, or shake hands with the delivery man. No, you do not need to have routine deliveries wiped down. What we’ve learned from the cruise ship data is it takes 1-2 days of asymptomatic spread where the virus can be transferred before fever develops. People are absolutely becoming immune. We know from a day or two before you have the disease until about 14 days into the disease, you spread the disease into the environment. As it mutates it’s going to get milder and milder in the coming years to where it will look like a cold.”
