Homemade Liquid Hand Soap – GAPS Approved
Rebuilding the body often includes removing all chemical overload intake. For some this means no soap at all. Using homemade soap, made from natural ingredients, can sometimes be the only option.
Soap dispensers are available in kid friendly versions like this or adult classy versions like this, as well as everything in between. If you choose to use a foaming soap dispenser like this one reduce the Dr. Bronner’s soap ingredient by 1/4 cup so the soap is not too foamy.

The base of the recipe is Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap. Bronner’s says, “Our soaps also contain hemp and jojoba oils, which mirror the natural oils in the skin’s sebum, thus imparting a wonderful after feel once the soaps are washed away.”
The head of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, David Bronner, has been a key player in Oregon in the effort to label genetically modified organisms. The soap is made from a collection of organic oils and vitamin E which don’t actually exist in the end product after the saponification process has changed the oil into a salt.
The essential oils used are you choice. This is my favorite.
The tea tree oil like this one assists with bacteria.
