Different homeopaths favor different nosode remedies. For each illness or situation there are several options, none are wrong, each may work depending on the person and situation.

Vaccinations are a hot topic, each side battling their position because they are right.

For those with a damaged immune system, those repairing their microbiome while on GAPS, vaccinations are not recommended. Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride recommends assessing the health condition of the child first. She says, “A comprehensive immunological survey should be performed on every baby before a decision about vaccination is made.” (page 69). This includes analysis of the parents’ health, a comprehensive stool analysis to determine dysbiosis in the microbiome and evaluation of the immune system.

If the child is showing any imbalance in the microbiome she recommends, “No vaccination at all. An infant born to a mother with ME, fibromialgia, digestive problems, asthma, eczema, severe allergies, autoimmune disorders or neurological problems should not be vaccinated.” (page 69-70).

Many people in this situation consider homeopathic alternatives.

This list of homeopathic remedies come from homeopaths advanced in their years of experience. Taking these remedies are not being recommended by this author instead of vaccinations- if you are seeking medical attention it should not be done here. This post is what is considered “entertainment”.

Chicken Pox

Will Taylor, MD says, “Not every person with chickenpox needs to be treated, and in my experience most do not.” If the person presents with the need he says 60% of his patients respond to Pulsatilla if they are weepy and clingy, others depend on their disposition.

Diphtheria

Hpathy sites Francois Cartier, a Medical Doctor and the former President of the Homeopathic Society of France. They say, “Cartier, whose long experience in the diphtheria pavillion of the Children’s Hospital in Paris advocates Mercurius cyanatus and Diphtherinum as the successful remedies in this disease, the latter also being useful in post-diphtheritic paralyses. The higher potencies are used.”

Flu

Canadian Homeopath  Donna Powers  says, “Gelsemium is one of the top remedies for exactly these symptoms.” Gelsemium addresses paralysis, pain in the back of the neck, weakness all over the body and general fatigue.

Malaria

The homeopathic remedy for malaria is Cinchona officinalis.

Homeopathy Plus says Cinchona officinalis is the first chronicled homeopathic remedy. They say it is an, “Antimalarial, digestive aid, antiparasitic, antispasmodic, and antipyretic (reduces fever) and is still cultivated and used conventionally for malaria and leg cramps today.”

They further report Homeopath Jennie Taylor from Senegal opts for, “Most cases that are not too far advanced respond immediately to (Belladona) 200 hourly, with a single dose of China 30 nightly.”

Measles

German Medical Doctor, Karl-Reinhard Kummer, had 251 children in his clinic with measles from the fall of 1987 to the spring of 1988. Most of the children were preschool age. Five children were less than six months old. One was seventeen. He treated them with Pulsatilla and Pneumodoron, expectorants and strict bed rest. All of the children were symptom free in 3 weeks, many felt themselves after just one week. No child experienced any complications.

Mumps

Homeopath Dr. Deoshlok Sharma, recommends isolated bed rest, maintained attention to oral hygiene, liquid diet, warm moist compresses to lift the pathogens and homeopathy. Different symptoms depict a different remedy. He recommends Belladonna if there is redness in the face and eyes with headache and delirium, Hyoscyamus if it has progressed to the brain evidenced by a wildness, staring, twitching, jerking and nervous excitability. Pulsatilla if there’s a tearful disposition, mercurius if it was brought on by a cold and Kali mur if there is swelling of the parotid gland and pain when swallowing. Sharma says, “This remedy alone will cure most cases unless there is fever.”

Polio

Canadian Homeopath Donna Powers says Gelsemium (paralysis, back of the neck pain, weakness, fatigue) and Lathyrus sativa are recommended for polio. She says, “If you look over the descriptions of the remedy, you can easily see how the Lathyrus remedy picture looks very similar to the disease picture of polio. Lathyrus is used by some homeopaths as a preventative for polio when parents are vaccine free and want an alternative.”

Small-pox

The homeopathic remedy for small-pox is Variolinum, lymph from the small-pox pustule.

Homeopath Dr. Shahzad Akram says Variolinum, “Seems to be efficacious in protecting against, modifying and aiding in the cure of small-pox.”

Science-Based Medicine says, “It is recommended to administer it at a potency of 30 CH twice a day for up to 5 days as a preventive. This remedy is also very useful to combat the ill effects of Allopathic small pox vaccination, as well as to control the disease that happens when a person gets unwillingly infested by the vaccine received from another.”

Tetanus

Clostridium Tetani 30

Hpathy says the best remedy for tetanus is Nux vomica, “The leading homeopathic remedy for tetanus. It has tetanic convulsions with opisthotonos, distortion of eyes and face, with dyspnoea excited by any external impression. Strychnia, the alkaloid of Nux-vomica, produces a perfect picture of tetanus, with its convulsion of muscles renewed by the slightest external impression, its ‘risus sardonicus,’ its respiratory spasm, with blue `cyanosed face and clear mind.”

They further say Hydrocyanic acid addresses lock jaw, cicuta virosa for convulsions, rigidity then prostration as well as fixed eyes staring at one spot and Belladonna for tetanus in infants.

Kendall Nelson, director of “The Greater Good” and vaccine consultant says hypericum or ledum 30c or 100c, one or two doses, if that fits the situation. She says it can’t do anythign unless you have an open wound and you’re exposed to the dirt with the animal feces in it. (Wise Conversations #4, April 29, 2020).

Whooping Cough (pertussis)

Dr. Larry Malerba, DO, recommends Drosera rotundifolia if the cough is worse when lying down with attempts to bring up phlegm activates retching and vomiting, Belladonna for pressure in the head, fever with a hot and red face. Others include Coccus cacti if there is clear thick ropey mucus, Antimonium tartaricum for an audible mucus filled chest and Cuprum metallicum with muscle spasms and clenched fists.
