Homeopathy For Heavy Metals – GAPS Support

Heavy metal toxicity is a commonly seen ailment, clinically. A healthy body should eliminate metals on its own from an antioxidant made by the microbiome, alpha lipoic acid, ALA. However, when the microbiome is damaged, and ALA isn’t being manufactured by the body, damaging heavy metals accumulate in the body. There are good metals in the body and toxic metals. Good metals are zinc, copper, magnesium, manganese, selenium, chromium, iron. Toxic metals are mercury, aluminum, lead, arsenic. Any metal, in extreme excess, can be dangerous.

When the detox pathways struggle, the toxicity builds and symptoms appear. Heavy metal toxicity is common, especially in GAPSters. As Dr. Natasha says, homeopathy smoothes off the rough edges.
Scientific Report published a study showing different toxic heavy metals tend to accumulate in different organs, “This study showed that heavy metals such as lead, manganese, aluminum, and copper carried by PM2.5 (Particulate Matter) can enter the circulation after respiratory exposure and selectively accumulate in the target organs including blood, brain, liver and lungs. This study of heavy metals distribution and metabolism in rat body highlights the potential harm of the atmospheric PM2.5 to various organs of rat.”
Interdisciplinary Toxicology says, “Arsenic is a protoplastic poison since it affects primarily the sulphydryl group of cells causing malfunctioning of cell respiration, cell enzymes and mitosis. The ionic mechanism of lead toxicity causes significant changes in various biological processes such as cell adhesion, intra- and inter-cellular signaling, protein folding, maturation, apoptosis, ionic transportation, enzyme regulation, and release of neurotransmitters. Mercury is considered the most toxic heavy metal in the environment.”
Homeopathy is a safe and effective way to address metals. When you support the body correctly, it can repair itself. Some say it is quackery, unproven or a hoax. Others say it has changed their lives and given definitive and remarkable results. Many symptoms make up the direction for each remedy. In homeopathy, this doesn’t do that, are are many factors that guide the protocol.
Nat. mur. (also known as Natrum muriaticum)
Joette Calabrese wrote on the 2015 Wise Traditions, “The most common remedy that has historically addressed poisoning, even low levels. The picture that Nat mur 6x covers is one of oversensitivity. For someone who suffers from being around perfumes, cigarette smoke and chemicals, particularly if mercury is associated with their illness.”
The British Homeopathic Association says those who use Nat. mur. are, “Schooled in self-control and the suppression of emotions, they are uncomfortable with sympathy and avoid it lest it should break down their composure and resolve. If pushed it may arouse them to anger. Yet in Nat mur there is always a silent solicitation for the love, sympathy and nurturing that they possibly never received in their childhood or in their marriage.” Click here for Natrum muriaticum.
Elixirs says, “Arsenic has a notorious history as a poison used for murders. The victim dies in agony with violent burning pains, vomiting, cramping, Mental agony also with a fear of death and need to be around others. In its homeopathic form, Arsenicum Album cures the symptoms that Arsenic causes. Suited to fastidious and tidy persons, meticulous at work and home. Arsenicum types are effective hard workers. They like variety in their jobs to make their restlessness and constant motion. Music, dance, exercise can be important to them. Arsenicum Album people feel better with warm food and drink. When ill, they can feel extremely exhausted.” Click here for Arsenica album.
Sometimes multiple toxic heavy metals burden the system. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this connection can negatively impact the chest and large intestines meridian. Click here for support in this. This one contains different remedies for related metals.
Silica is used for aluminum toxicity.
Homeopathy For Women says Silica, “Helps aluminum to be excreted via urine but allows essential metals, such as iron and copper, to stay in the body. Studies have also shown that drinking silica-rich mineral water each day for 12 weeks helps to remove aluminum from the body. There is evidence that drinking silica-rich mineral water decreases body levels of aluminum in people with Alzheimer’s disease. In some patients, it simultaneously improves cognitive performance to a significant degree.” Click here for Silica. Those with suppressed adrenals often thrive on Silica.
A persistent elevated temperature and listlessness after a vaccination, can be associated with toxicity. Sulphur 200c supports the system with this toxicity.
Irregularites in the menstrual cycle, with a potential of heavy metal poisoning, is recommended by the Banerji Protocol with Sabina. When the menses are painful and heavy, the addition of Caulophyllum thalictroides is recommended.
When the metals are unknown, an encompassing spray like this one can show great supportive effects. Another popular combination spray is available from Liddell’s here.
