Natural Mold Support, GAPS Approved

For some people mold guides their daily schedule. Decisions are made regarding which clothing stores, grocery stores, indoor playgrounds and churches they attend, all because of mold. Long distance travel is orchestrated over the age of the hotel and moisture damage. Flexibility is key as the person who suffers from mold needs to be able to leave and relocate instantly. Supporting the body properly is key. Walking away from a mold sensitivity takes time.
“Nearly half of us live in draughty, damp or moldy homes,” says UK publication The Daily Mail. Rental properties show worse numbers.

In addition to continually getting sicker and sicker, other symptoms of mold contamination are constant brain fog, cognitive decline, mood issues, autoimmune issues, fatigue, inflammation, sleep issues, joint pain, excessive sleep, vomiting and nausea. A simple way to check if your living conditions are moldy is to leave for at least a week to a place which is speculated to not have mold and see if you feel better.
Supporting a molded body is no easy task. There is no quick fix, no pill, no light switch we can extinguish. Supporting the body properly is not just possible, it is imperative to the health of a molded person. Dust, mold and animal dander allergies often present together.
Physiology and Behavior reported a study of young school aged children exposed to moldy environments. The study followed a group of 277 children, for a six year follow-up period. Every child exposed to mold showed a decline in IQ. Those exposed to mold the longest showed a 10 point drop.
“Dead mold is just as bad as live mold. When mold dies, its cell wall disintegrates. It’ll break apart into little fragments, and the fragments have toxins on them. This is a disease of toxins. When you inhale those toxins, they’re in you. If you don’t recognize them as foreign, you have a difficult time getting them out of your body,” says Scott McMahon, M.D.
It is of utmost importance that the person is removed from the moldy environment. When a person continues to get sicker and sicker, or they just don’t recover on schedule, mold is often the place to look. The basis of improving or restoring health follows a pattern, specific to each person. If this pattern is not appearing, environmental factors should be considered. Most naturally based practitioners will tell you they have never seen a person recover while living in a moldy environment. Someone who has been molded can often tell you if a property is moldy just by walking inside. Sometimes, it’s not that easy to detect.
When the person decides to leave their moldy conditions, it is important to remember, if they take their possessions with them, they are taking the mold with them. Many people clean their items properly, others start over from scratch.
Repairing Intestinal Permeability is key to supporting a person who has been molded. There is no better fix to Intestinal permeability, Leaky Gut in layman’s terms, than the GAPS Protocol. It is important to know meat stock should be used, not bone broth. Click here for the most common meat stock and bone broth questions. Warming up the body with hot soups is the opposite environment desired by molds. Chicken, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is known as a damp food, so those with utmost sensitivity should try lamb, beef or pork stock.
Some people report bentonite clay helps them feel better. Bentonite clay absorbs toxicity, binding it, in the body. Dr. Natasha, creator of the GAPS protocol, recommends taking 3 tablespoons of bentonite clay at night before bed. This level needs to be built slowly, starting with 1/4 of a teaspoon and increasing as tolerated.
Raw garlic, and the allicin therein, is an antifungal which will kill molds.
Activated charcoal will bind to toxins and help pull them out of the body. Activated charcoal is famous for binding to minerals and nutrients in the body, depleting the body of necessary support. If should only be used for a short period of time, no more than a few days or a week. It can cause constipation issues which can be advanced and long lasting.
Juicing greens assist in cleansing toxins out of the body, including molds.

This product shows great effectiveness for some when used for years. Homeopathic remedies are often not used this long, but show only benefits, if needed.
Cinchona (China) Officionalis is another homeopathic remedy, known to support the liver. Flushing the liver allows the body to address toxins more readily.
Vitamin C helps to flush the body of toxins. Taking liposomal C in the amount of one to two tablespoons every hour shows great support for many people. Liposomal C is said to pull toxicity from the fat cells where toxicity is stored.
Mold is not something to be taken lightly. People who have been molded report their medical doctor tells them they are faking, making it up for sympathy, or they send them to a psychiatrist. It is real. Just because someone doesn’t know it’s real, doesn’t make it any less real. To learn more about hidden mold click here, here and here.
