Prescription Drugs That Contain Fluoride

Fluoridated drugs may be causing more damage than good in the long run. Fluoride is a known toxin that negatively impacts the brain, the heart and has caused death in test animals.
“Including fluorine atoms in medicines can have a variety of dramatic effects on the molecules’ properties, perhaps making them more selective, increasing their efficacy, or making them easier to administer. So it is no great surprise that around a fifth of all drugs on the market today contain at least one fluorine substituent,” says Joel Swinson, senior research chemist for Halocarbon Products Corporation.
He goes on to say fluoride and fluoride derivatives, “Provide an extremely useful way of making a molecule more easily delivered to the active site in the body.”
The Merck Manual for Pet Health says, “Sodium fluoride at a dosage of 5 to 10 milligrams per kilogram can be fatal, and toxic effects can occur at less than 1 milligram per kilogram. Fluoride is absorbed quickly (most within 90 minutes). The stomach and intestines become inflamed, and the heart beats rapidly and irregularly. Nervous signs may also be seen, followed by collapse and death within a few hours of fluoride ingestion.”

Fluoride accumulates in the body and is considered more toxic than lead but not quite as toxic as arsenic. It is highly damaging to the liver and the kidneys. Click here for natural liver support.
“Fluoride in drinking water binds with magnesium, creating a nearly insoluble mineral compound that ends up deposited in the bones, where its brittleness increases the risk of fractures,” says the Weston Price Foundation. Meanwhile 90% of Americans are showing to be deficient in magnesium.
A test study was performed in India on a group of albino mice where the mice were administered fluoride and aluminum, separately and together. The results showed the rats suffered, “Significantly impaired production of free radical scavengers, superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, glutathione, and total ascorbic acid, thereby increasing hepatic lipid peroxidation and thus making the tissue more susceptible to injury.” The liver damage and kidney damage was remarkable.
The FDA has not approved the use of fluoride in prescription or over-the-counter drugs, yet these drugs all contain fluoride. (source), (source), (source), (source).

Chemist Joel Swinson says, “The distinctive effects that fluorine substituents have on the properties of active pharmaceutical ingredients mean they will remain popular with the drug discovery chemist.”

I was almost killed by Prozac (Fluoxitine) give to me at age 61 for an “anxiety disorder” All the time it was poisoning me I was seeing my primary care physician and a cardiologist and they couldn’t figure out what I was complaining about. I even told my cardiologist, “I feel like I’m being poisoned.” He said, in a condescending tone, “No one’s poisoning you.” He released me from follow-up after that appointment because he could find nothing wrong with my heart.
These are some of the symptoms I had after starting Fluoxitine on March 29, 2017, in approximate order of appearance:
1. Buzzing/Electricity/Tightness in Chest (“heart hurts”). Also, numbness and tension in my left jaw and left side of my face and neck. Pain in spine at level of sternum at same time.
2. Electricity in my hands if I tapped my fingers.
3. “Orthostatic HYPOtension” (when standing) and HYPERtension in prone position (in the 180’s)
4. Intolerance to both heat and cold.
5. Heart palpitations, skipped beats, slow pulse rate (55), thought it might stop beating, heart felt “rough, ragged and weak”, heart “clicks”.
6, Muscle weakness and heart pounds on exertion.
7. Waking up suffocating and feeling drowning in my own fluids, had to jump out of bed and go outside and walk fast for 30 minutes to recover. This was every morning and eventually after only 1/2 hr of lying down. Had to learn to sleep sitting up.
8. Cherry red feet and toes which blanched on standing up or pressing on them.
9. Pain, burning, stiffness in all muscles head to toe.
10. Joint pain, mainly in back, hips and knees. Had to stop taking brisk walks for fear of injuring or breaking my hips and knees.
11. Sharp pains in different locations of my head.
12. Constant thirst and excessive water consumption.
13. Finally, I had extreme fatigue and constant yawning which I recognized as “side effects” from the Fluoxitine warning sheet, and I stopped taking it immediately after taking it for about 2 months.
In the next 7 days, I had 2 episodes of a visual disturbance (both eyes) of a curved array of zigzaging short lines where each line flashed white and black in opposite time to its neighbors.
All of these symptoms I controlled with a hot milk drink and amino acid chelated magnesium supplements as needed when an episode occured. I only stumbled on this remedy because it was recommended by an herbal health company for “anxiety disorder and panic attacks”. I would not have survived if I had not had this tool at my disposal.
All symptoms continued after stopping the Fluoxitine (except visual disturbances) and the pain, burning and stiffness in my muscles got worse.
On October 18, 2017 I figured out the flouride connection from the internet and switched to drinking and cooking with distilled water. I had been drinking Topeka, KS fluoridated municipal water all my life except for the 15 year period from 1992 to 2007 when I was a practicing nutritionist. I also started checking my “basal” temperatures (still lying quietly in bed, thermometer shook down the night before) every morning as a test of thyroid function. They were low, 97 degrees on average. The thyroid hormones blood tests were little help as they were in the normal range.
I realized the “anxiety disorder” was just a manifestation of chronic fluoride poisoning from the city water. Just before the anxiety and panic attacks started I was seen for abdominal pain and rapid tooth decay (October 2016). (See “In Memoriam, Albert W. Burgstahler, PhD” online for his account of his poisoning from drinking Lawrence, KS fluoridated water for 10 years in the 1950’s and 60’s.)
As soon as I was diagnosed with “anxiety disorder”, I heard on the national news that there was an epidemic of people over age 60 with anxiety disorder dying of either heart attack or heart failure. They didn’t know why. Now I feel that, like me, they had been drinking fluoridated water their whole lives until their bones could hold no more fluoride (bones are the primary storage site for fluoride), and then the fluoride in the drinking water began to poison them acutely. Diagnosed with “anxiety disorder” they were given either Prozac or Paxil containing fluoride and it pushed them over the edge.
In the first seven days of drinking and cooking with distilled water, all the pain and burning and most of the stiffness in my muscles went away. I’m still drinking the distilled water and using the hot milk and magnesium to block the other symptoms as they occur. I believe the current symptoms are detox effects related to my bones releasing the stored fluoride and re-poisoning me. I still need the hot milk 3 to 6 times every 24 hour period. Overall, though, I am much improved and feel like I’m out of the woods.
I have written to my primary doctor, my cardiologist, my endocrinologist (who I won’t see for the first time until December 14th, and the head of my hair analysis lab (they can’t check for iodine (as a nutrient) or flouride (as a toxin), and the Topeka City Council. I have spoken with Kansas Poison Control three times, giving them updates. I called the FDA emergency line last Friday to report the adverse drug reaction but they told me to call back Monday because of the Veteran’s Day Holiday. I plan to call them today. I plan to contact the Centers For Disease Control about giving flouride containing drugs on top of fluoridated drinking water to old people like me. I welcome contact from other concerned people and can be reached at (785)580-3982 or at lisasimsage61@gmail.com (I only check my email once a week at the public library).

How can you detox fluoride out of your body?
Iodine. https://www.nourishingplot.com/2014/08/30/detoxing-fluoride-bromine-and-chlorine-naturally/
I think we should get a new FDA. Make the Pharmaceutical companies fully responsible for murdering us and our families. In prison we can test their crap on them. If they survive their meds for three year without any side effects they can be released on probation.
