Pumpkin Spice Kombucha
There are few food items that scream fall like Pumpkin Spice flavored treats. The problem with so many of them is they are filled with loads of sugar and processed ingredients. This Pumpkin Spice Kombucha is both satisfying and nourishing.
In a half gallon jar, put 15 ounces of pumpkin, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon nutmeg and 3 tablespoons local honey. Fill the jar to the top with unflavored Kombucha. Shake well before enjoying. This is best served cold. Letting it sit for a day or two will assist in fermentation and digestion of the honey.

Should it sit for a few days on the counter on in the refridgerator?
As will most ferments, including Kombucha which is flavored, either way is fine, depending on your taste buds and physical needs.
