Shocking Findings on Cholesterol and Heart Disease Scam

It has been said for years, by experts, that high cholesterol causes heart disease. Claims have been made, legislation has been passed, restaurants have been strong armed into carrying certain oils, the list goes on and on regarding high cholesterol and heart disease. However, that concept has been refuted, proven incorrect through many studies and may not be valid at all, even though it is frequently used as, what some would say, a scare tactic. The causes of heart disease have been repeatedly debunked over the years.

Dr. Michael DeBakey remains the most famous heart surgeon of all time. He had over 60,000 patients and found no relation between cholesterol and heart disease. He was a Lebanese-American cardiovascular surgeon, heart surgeon pioneer, scientist, medical educator, chancellor emeritus of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, director of The Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, and senior attending surgeon of The Methodist Hospital in Houston. His 70-year-long career dealing with heart surgeries, heart issues, different diets and protocols is incomparable. He was practicing medicine long into his late 80s and passed away of natural causes at the age of 99.

Medline Plus said, “No person has done more to advance the surgical treatment of diseases of the heart and blood vessels than Dr. Michael DeBakey.”

Boris Yeltzon called him “The Magician of the Heart” after his heart surgery with Dr. DeBakey’s.

The Chicago Tribune quoted Dr. DeBakey saying, “There is a tendency to forget that, ”We do not know the basic cause of the disease.” About a fourth of the thousands of patients with atherosclerosis (coronary heart disease) DeBakey has dealt with have low cholesterol levels. DeBakey said, “There is a tendency to be too restrictive about fats and dietary cholesterol (that which comes from eating animal products as opposed to the cholesterol produced by one`s own body).”

In 1987 The New York Times reported, “Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, the heart surgeon, said today that 30 years of observation of more than 15,000 patients had led him to conclude that cholesterol was not the central cause of arteriosclerosis, the artery-clogging condition that kills hundreds of thousands of Americans each year.”

They went on to say, “His findings, which include a study of 1,400 artery-bypass patients, contradict most of the recent studies on the role of cholesterol in heart disease. ‘All the evidence runs in the other direction,’ says Dr. Anthony Gotto, a leading heart expert at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.”

Mary Dan Eades, M.D., says there is no correlation between high cholesterol and low cholesterol and heart disease. She says cholesterol is not a factor in heart disease, “I applaud the move to drive partially hydrogenated vegetable oils into gas tanks where they belong. In my opinion, these Franken Fats have no place in human nutrition.”

Eades is the author of 15 books on cholesterol, reversing heart disease and proper nutrition for the body. She is known as an expert in lowering bad cholesterol while elevating the good.

Dr. Eades says, “Real lard is a naturally-hydrogenated, solid fat that requires no tampering in the factory to add anything to it. Lard is rendered pork fat. Most of its carbon bonding sites are happily filled with a full complement of hydrogens in their natural and normal cis position just as it comes from the hog. Lard contains a fair amount (14%) of the 18-carbon saturated fat, stearic acid, which has been shown in clinical testing to lower cholesterol. Important, of course, only if that’s actually a valid cardiovascular health parameter when it’s all said and done, which is looking more and more doubtful with each passing day.”

Dr. Mary Dan Eades M.D. says it has to do with inflammation, not cholesterol.

Thomas Cowen, M.D., has found no connection between cholesterol levels, coronary blockage and heart disease. His findings are reported in his book Human Heart, Cosmic Heart: A Doctor’s Quest to Understand, Treat and Prevent Cardiovascular Disease. Cowen was diagnosed with a heart problem in his young 20s. He shows how the heart, arteries and capillaries are not hoses in the body whose function is to pump, but to create vortex flow.

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride is a famous Medical Doctor, Neurosurgeon, Neurologist and author of GAPS, Gut and Psychology Syndrome, wrote a book on how eating animal fats, animal meats and high cholesterol foods has no connection to heart disease,. In her book Put Your Heart in Your Mouth. she explains the connection comes from processed foods void of nutrition. She says she sees animal fats repairing damage, not causing it.

Mary Enig, PhD, is famous for her observations at the government regarding oils, vegetable fats and animal fats. She is known for her stance that animal fats do not cause heart disease. It is laid out thoroughly in her book Know Your Fats, in her book authored with Sally Fallon, Eat Fat Lose Fat, and in her book authored with Sally Fallon, Nourishing Traditions.

Sally Fallon continued her work on the topic in her book Nourishing Fats: Why We Need Animal Fats For Health and Happiness.

An amazing talk by Sally Fallon on YouTube called “The Oiling of America” is such a good listen. She presents Mary Enig’s work and gets down to the lies perpetuated over the years.
