The Top 20 Reasons You Might Be A GAPS Mom….

GAPS will change your life. You’ll function, you’ll feel great, your illnesses will shed off one by one. However, the journey is a ride like no other. You’ll work your fanny off and cook your fingers to the bone.
WARNING: Do not read this post unless you are doing GAPS. Really doing GAPS, not poking at it with a stick. It’s a whole new word of eyeball popping if you do!

GAPS is worth it when your child goes from a drooling mess who can’t communicate and function in real world situations to being the head of the class and the most well behaved child in the room. It’s worth it when your child doesn’t gain weight, is a picky eater, is failing to thrive and declining daily. It’s worth it when the eczema is debilitating with white crusty open sores that your child digs at all through the night. It’s worth it when the bowels don’t move on their own. It’s worth it when your eight-year-old boy looks like he’s nine months pregnant with a belly so swollen and hard it hurts. It’s worth it when your daughter can’t play soccer because of outdoor allergies.
It’s just worth it.
It’s worth it but it’s hard.
It’s the hardest thing you’ll probably do, but, your family will be healthier for all your effort. The face of our children is changing and it’s all due to heroic moms who tirelessly work for their loved ones. It’s so worth it. When you do it right and you see the changes, there’s no going back. You’ll do whatever it takes, for the sake of your child and your own health.
So go forth Mama! Realize you’re changing the world! The dark circles under the eyes are receding, the healthy flesh tone is coming back and the energy is abounding. Until then, keep your eyes peeled because there are certain factors that identify us all as a GAPS mom. Watch diligently and you may find us lurking right in front of your face.
Just know, if you qualify for these factors, you might be a GAPS mom, a mom who has a super-hero uniform under her skin, a mom who loves and cares with all her heart and a mom who lives in the house where all the kids want to come eat!
