With so many different healthful diets floating through the mainstream it’s difficult to evaluate which one is right for you – until you see they all have the same common foundation.

Yale scientist and medical expert Dr. David Katz published an analysis in Annual Reviews saying they all follow the same foundation, eating real food while eliminating processed packaged foods.

Natural Society reported, “Credible nutritionists have been saying it forever, and even foodies know that nothing can take the place of real food – not GMO, not chemical laden biotech food, or things filled with artificial preservatives, colors flavorings, and more non-food stuff that our bodies don’t want or need.”

The result: eat food, not too much, mostly plants.

Dr. Deanna Minich says, “We don’t need a lot of studies to tell us that.” She says looking at food at a level of quantum physics, a nutritional emission scientific outcome compared to input. “Scientists are trying to quantify these subtle signs of how we are changing physiologically.”

Dr. Katz says, “Over the span of my career, I hear so many ridiculous fad diets come along one after another and each one claims to be the truth.” He goes on to say, “Modern living impairs health. It makes it hard not to be stressed out; it makes it hard to get stuff to eat; it makes it hard to fit in physical activity; it makes it hard to eat well. We have two choices: We can change the world or we can change ourselves to deal more effectively with the world.”

Michael Pollin writes in his recent book In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”

Weston A. Price, a dentist who studied diets of historic indigenous people evaluating food sources found, “Crowded, crooked teeth are the result of nutritional deficiencies, not inherited genetic defects.” He found the common denominator between all healthy communities was they did not eat processed food, everything was real food as it was presented in nature.

“The isolated people Price photographed–with their fine bodies, ease of reproduction, emotional stability and freedom from degenerative ills–stand forth in sharp contrast to civilized moderns subsisting on the “displacing foods of modern commerce,” including sugar, white flour, pasteurized milk, lowfat foods, vegetable oils and convenience items filled with extenders and additives,” the Weston A. Price Foundation says.

In fact those items aren’t really food, they’re food-ish.

Dr. Dwight Lundell, a heart surgeon from Arizona says processed food is the real cause of heart disease and natural food will prevent the problem. He specifically says low-fat dieting, “Recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible,” the root cause of many health issues today.

Dr. Lundell says, “There is but one answer to quieting inflammation and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state.”
