Using HMD, Heavy Metal Detox, While on GAPS

HMD, Heavy Metal Detox, is a supplement used for detoxing the body from heavy toxic loads such as heavy metals. It contains coriander sativa, chlorella growth factor and chlorella homaccord (a homeopathic form of chlorella). Chlorella is known for grabbing metals. Cilantro is known to get metals moving.
There are good metals and bad metals, both can be found in the human body. When the toxic load of heavy metals is high, the beneficial metals such as zinc, copper, selenium, chromium, magnesium, and manganese show distorted levels in the body.

Some people say chlorella and spirulina are not perfect chelators, that they simply relocate metals in the body. At this point, there is no perfect chelator on the market, as each drops the metal molecule according to their own carbon half life. The next dose is what picks up what is dropped. Some report great results from HMD, Heavy Metal Detox. The choice is individual. HMD is classified as a natural heavy metal detox program.
Even though chlorella homaccord is a homeopathic form of chlorella, the product is classified, by HMD, as a supplement, not a homeopathic remedy.
George J. Georgiou Ph.D., D.Sc. (AM), N.D. is the inventor of HMD, Heavy Metal Detox. He says he knows it works. Georgiou was, “Commissioned by a metal foundry to discover a natural metal chelator for their workforce.” He researched, for three years, with rough expenditures of a million dollars, and formed HMD.
This research included a double blind placebo controlled study which showed, “We compared an initial urine and feces sample with a post sample taken one or two days after taking the HMD. What we found was a percentage increase in the second sample, compared to the first. This was repeated on over 350 people.” They also compared pre and post sample hair tests and found the same, “It was founds to chelate a number of metals including arsenic, aluminum, antimony, cadmium, lead and mercury. Recently, we found that it’s eliminating uranium 238.”

Clinical trials were done with 56 people to see if HMD moved mercury. Georgiou says, “We found it was eliminating over 480 percent mercury in the second urine sample compared to the first urine sample in a 24-hour period.”
If the liver, kidneys and lymph are congested, they found the detoxification system could not move the metals after they were released. This could lead to adverse symptoms, which can point you to supporting those detoxification organs. Georgiou says, “This is a detox crisis. This can easily be handled with drainage remedies, which we’ve already developed. One of them is called organic levage, the other is chlorella.”
When following the GAPS Protocol, Dr. Natasha says, “In some cases the toxic load can be too high and still producing symptoms after two years; in these cases I recommend natural chelating substances such as HMD™ (Heavy Metal Detox). Seaweed and probiotics are also strong chelators of toxins.”
Some GAPSters have great issues with corn related products. HMD says it is a, “Liquid based in glycerine derived from Palm Kernel Oil. Absolutely no corn is integrated or amidst the process.”
Using HMD consists of the three products: HMD, levage and chlorella. The recommended dosage of HMD is 45 drops, three times daily. Not everyone can handle this high of a dose and need to go much lower in drop numbers.

I am interested to know the protocol associated with this product. The protocol link takes me to the site to purchase. Thank you!
Same site, just the main page: https://www.detoxmetals.com/
Hi Becky,
I am glad to see you are involved with WAP, I know of Sally and her farm,
so that helps me know you are legit and not just putting out bad information.
Have you used this detox? I have used HEEL and their “body anew”, how is
this similar and/or better…? If you have used this, what timeframe did you
use? When I did the HEEL 30 day detox I did feel better, my senses of taste
and smell improved and I only had a slight headache the first day or so.
Thanks.
I am not familiar with HEEL. The sense of taste and smell, when dulled or absent, is a zinc deficiency. Eating lots of raw pastured yolks is my favorite way to resolve a zinc deficiency. The Adrenal Support Shake Recipe is specific to this and was recently chosen by the Weston A Price Organization as the recipe of the month https://www.nourishingplot.com/2017/03/21/adrenal-support-shake/.
Another great way to source zinc is oysters.
What about zeolite? We have been on GAPS for three months but I think it would greatly aid his healing
My son is five with high functioning autism. He learned to talk at 3.5 years old after I gave him a month of bentonite clay
