Yogurt Taffy, Sour Cream Taffy, Kefir Taffy
Yogurt taffy can be flavored with any fruit or sweetener. This one is flavored with local honey as, in small amounts, it does not feed pathogens and is easily transportable.

Spread yogurt on a non-stick sheet (like this affiliate link) preferably using home brewed yogurt from real milk.
We prefer our yogurt taffy flavored with strawberries or drizzled with local honey as shown.
Dehydrate on trays until desired firmness at 115 degrees. Cut with kitchen scissors and store in snack pack bags.
This works well as kefir taffy also.
The thinner you spread the yogurt or kefir the thinner and more cracked your taffy.
Our favorite taffy is made with home fermented sour cream mixed with strawberries.

Roughly how many hours does it take to make it pretty hard?
It depends on the thickness you poured it, the sweetener you put in the recipe and the type of milk and how much cream it contains. There’s a large range. Sorry I can’t be more specific.
Pretty cool .. very helpful thank you
